Chef Allyson Ames, founder of Newport Beach's Wonderland Bakery, has been cataloged as one of The Richest Kids in the U.S. in the new book by Chicken Soup for the Soul scribe Mark Victor Hansen, though knowing him, it's probably just spiritual wealth. Hardly a kid anymore at 23, Ames has been cooking since single digits and baked for Barack as a pint-sized entrepreneur. We don't know Allyson yet, but following BusinessWire to her hyper-saccharine website already gives us a stomach ache. That's only the first taste though, as Allyson hits the Today Show August 3rd to talk on her forthcoming Wonderland retail shops, one of the first of which is coming straight to L.A.
