GastroBus Rolls Out Sweet Potato Fries and Farmer’s Market Improv

We’re keeping our eyes peeled for the Frysmith truck, though the traveling spud slicer hasn’t Twittered a thing since the end of last month. Meanwhile, The GastroBus, a relatively new food truck full of pub grub (minus the beer), seems to be stealing some of their fry-bent glory. LAist reports that GastroBus is on the move, stocking up at Los Feliz farmer’s market to improvise Sunday meals, along with their fare of steak sandwiches, sliders, and pulled pork from chef Antonio Medina, a Wolfgang Puck alum. Yelp’s community manager pipes in that she loves their sweet potato fries, calling them “nearly perfect.” While we try to catch up to GastroBus ourselves, we’d love to hear from you if you’ve tried it.
