Cache Lights Up Cigars For New Dinner

Josiah Citrin’s Cache, no doubt missing the smell of Schwarzenegger in the morning at his former Schatzi space, is starting monthly cigar dinners at $150 per person. The restaurant is teaming up with neighbor Hollywood Smokes, the veteran Main Street cigar lounge that often looks like a retreat for husbands who were thrown out of the house for smoking in the first place. Following a small cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres like duck confit croquette, a five-course seasonal meal will be enjoyed, designed by Citrin and chef Nyesha Arrington to match with both wines and three different cigars. The first cigar night will be this Monday at 7:00 p.m., a good thing to remember if you’re downwind from the intersection of Main and Marine. Reservations can be made at (310) 399-4800 for Monday’s dinner, and the first menu is below.
