L.A. is one step closer to drinking at its own Bouchon, and based on recent wine-related reports, drink well we shall. The Beverly Hills link in Thomas Keller’s gilded chain has been approved for its liquor license (see it here) and is on schedule for its scheduled mid-November open. LAist tells us there’s signage up already, though last time we took a glance, the entire building didn’t look up itself. Better still, Mozza’s Bastianich-approved international sommelier Alex Weil will be in place to run Bouchon’s wine program, and LAist thinks some bakery goods will make it into the bakery-less outpost, as well. With all eyes currently on Bouchon and no new details left unturned, we’ll keep you updated as to the next sign of Bouchon’s awakening.
