A ratings slide is not the only bombardment Jay Leno faces in Burbank these days. PETA protesters dressed as chickens rallied on NBC Studios this week to force Leno to drop the show’s first significant ad purchase, a 29-day promotion for McDonald’s Monopoly contest. PETA’s concern, as usual, is the real-life chicken population, who have quite the difficult road to travel on their way to becoming McNuggets. [Burbank Leader]
