Culver City’s tiny one-woman show Sazon is celebrating the survival of one tough year. Awaiting the arrival of a new apartment complex that still hasn’t arrived across the street, Sazon watched many a door shutter while doing its best to attract attention from established restaurants on Centinela. To thank every one of us for our support, chef/owner Claudia Kihui has decided to offer a special discount on her cuisine that tours Latin America and The Caribbean in various mofongos, moles, and Cuban-style sandwiches. Every Tuesday, when you order any entrée, you’ll get a second one for half-off. Sazon weathers a battered economic climate, and we get a reward, sounds like a decent deal.
