You're doing your best to spend as little loot as possible this New Year's Eve when along comes your romantic interest wanting in on some fun. Enter RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen, who's offering a five-course dinner priced at just $88 per couple.

The Rock Sugar space has all the blockbuster appeal of a Vegas restaurant, half Buddha- Bar, half-museum of actual Thai artifacts, and chef Ismail Mohan's food transcends gimmick to cover a swath of South Asian flavors, highlighting his own sweet and sour take on regional recipes. The dinner's price embraces lucky Chinese numerology, offers a lot of choice, and if one chooses to pair an entire meal with Perrier-Jouet, costs an additional $60 a couple.
