Another spring restaurant opening is hotel-bound, this time at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills which is in the finishing stages of a $33 million renovation. Called Culina, the restaurant’s reps inform us this will open in early March and be the Four Season’s first restaurant that is independent from the hotel. The cuisine is modern Italian, and joining homemade pastas, meats and seafood, and thin-curst pizzas will be the Mediterranean version of a sushi bar in a “live-action” crudo station for guests observe the raw seafood prep. Culina will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner upon opening, and will be joined by Cabana Restaurant, which we imagine to be the not-so-independent hotel eatery in proximity of the pool.
