PhotoTasting Shows You How to Shoot Your Dinner

Are you one of those food obsessives who whips their camera out every time a dish lands on the table? You might want to join PhotoTasting, a new group formed by Daily Gluttony, with help from bloggers at The Knot and TripVine. PhotoTasting is holding its first workshop with Chef Todd Allison at recently revamped Checker's in Downtown. During the two-and-a-half hour class, Allison will cook his new winter menu for students to practice food photography with their point-and-shoot and DSLR cameras. Along the way, instructors will help the amateur food photographers master the elements of "exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance." The $45 fee sounds like a steal considering you get to eat from Allison's dishes once they've had their souls stolen by your camera. To register and for more details, visit PhotoTasting here.
