While the accompanying photo of a spread-eagled Stefan Richter might keep us from putting anything into our mouths for a couple of days, the news that the Top Chef runner-up is planning a new Santa Monica restaurant is palatable given his success with Stefan’s at L.A. Farm. Eater reports that Richter is taking space in the former Cynthia’s On The Corner (“Is there anything past the 405?” Richter recently ribbed) and will serve breakfast and lunch. The restaurant, tentatively titled Stefan’s on Montana, could be open in a “couple of weeks” if all goes to Richter’s plan.
