Among the big money-saving measures being adopted at The L.A. Times, including the closure of their Costa Mesa printing plant and ditching the business section on Mondays, the paper will move its Food Section back to Thursdays following many years of hump day delivery to “be available to weekend subscribers and to take advantage of weekend advertising.” Whether or not it will remain thinner than a Cheez-It has not yet been mentioned.
