Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, the Delaware deli that spread West to open its first L.A. store in Beverly Hills in January, is opening a second location this Monday in Encino. Failing to understand that we have one already without our world quaking, a writer for The Huffington Post said last week, “L.A., this sandwich will change your life.” Big statement for a big sandwich town, but Huff was dishing on the “Bobbie,” a thanksgiving sandwich with turkey, gravy, stuffing, and cranberries much like The Pilgrim served at Dave’s Chillin-n-Grillin in Eagle Rock. Capriotti’s is an Eastern shoreline favorite, but we’d love to hear from our Valley girls and guys in the comments if the bobbie makes an impact on your existence after Monday’s opening. And especially if it doesn’t. Open March 29th.

16101 Ventura Blvd, Suite 101, Encino. 818-986-2838.
