Pinches Tacos Culver City Opening in April

We’re surprised that some upstanding stickler didn’t already complain the name “Pinches Tacos” out of existence. To the contrary, we now learn this local chain plans to proliferate enormously in the next few months. First Pinches will open in Culver City during the third week of April on Washington Blvd. a block east of National, the restaurant tells us, with two more locations due by the end of summer. There’s one coming to Santa Monica Place when it returns in its new glory in August, but before that, Pinches will take a stab with a store in Birmingham, Alabama. The new Culver City spot will have 40 seats, stay open from 11:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M., and is trying to gets it hands on a beer and wine license, but will be BYOB until then. We’re not giant fans of Pinches actual tacos, but find it exciting news nonetheless for the local Anaya Family, founders of the festive and flavorful Cha Cha Cha over 20 years ago.

8665 Washington Blvd. Culver City.
