Pasadena’s Villa Sorriso is bringing two master distillers from Jack Daniel’s to dinner this Wednesday night for a meal pairing the famous whiskey with four courses of food for $60. The two gentleman, who will likely disappoint everyone by resembling neither Yosemite Sam or Freewheelin’ Franklin, are bringing two Jack bartenders with them to mix cocktails that pair the spirit with plates like prosciutto-and-sage-wrapped pear and John Dory with lobster sauce.
