Former Bin 8945 owner David Haskell parted ways with Vertical Wine Bar, only five months after joining the Pasadena spot and dubbing himself its in-house “wine pimp.” Feast, who ranks Vertical a “56,” reports that Haskell has plans to start his own “wine-centric” project in Los Angeles, though details are still in development. The bar’s wine program will continue under the staff Haskell trained, continuing services like his new “pairings-by-phone.” [NBC]
