This year’s L.A. Times Festival of Books, being held on April 24th and 25th, is heavy on chefs, with cooking demos by California legends, film and pop star cookbook authors, and Top Chef vets alike. Among the toques hitting the cooking stage are Bravo contestants C.J., Stefan Richter, Betty Fraser, and Antonia Lofaso dishing on Top Chef Quickfire Challenge, unexpected appearances by Alicia Silverstone and Trisha Yearwood toting their cookbooks, and Mark Peel and Alice Waters headlining on Sunday. This open public event expects over 130,000 attendees, so it pays to do some planning. The full schedule of cooking events and chef appearances is below for your convenience.
