Following the recent addition of chef Roger Hayot, Angel's Piano Bar and Supper Club is starting a happy hour program with bar snacks priced between three and six dollars alongside discount drinks. Expect $12 pitchers of sangria this summer, two-for-one well drinks, and five-buck margaritas. To instantly cure both the blues of the working man and those on a budget, Angel's "relief special" consists of a PBR with a shot for five-dollars. To nibble on, you'll find plates of chopped pork and slaw sliders, house-made chorizo and Italian sausage, and plantain tostones among the small selection of interesting eats. The full menu is online and we suggest tonight could be perfect timing to get in on drink discounts as the bargains last until closing every Tuesday.
