Speaking of the new Rivera outpost taking over for Grace, Eater reports this is actually planned by John Sedlar to be a pan-American venture tentatively titled R26. Like an upscale version of Culver City's Sazon, Sedlar will take South and Central America, Mexico, the Latin Caribbean, and Spain as his inspirations here, focusing on small and medium-sized plates backed by new creations from his renowned mixologist Julian Cox and Kristina Howald. We would have been happy with another Rivera, but this news is truly thrilling. [Eater]
