We've been covering the many restaurants and market shops that will top the new dining deck when Santa Monica Place reopens in less than three months, and now we learn that there is to be only one ground-level dining option. That distinction will be held by Ugo Cafe, which makes its all of coastal Italian fare from scratch and can be found in another location in Culver City. This small nook of an Ugo will be glassed in and extend slightly onto the sidewalk to serve pasta, pizza, panini, gelato, and coffee. An opening is planned for August 6th.
