Chefs from Patina's Downtown restaurants are meeting up with 30 California wineries for City of Angels Wine Fest in Downtown's Music Center Plaza. The Memorial Day event will find food and wine flowing and the proceeds from $65-$75 tickets going to benefit the construction of a new facility for Volunteers of America Rotary House, which provides housing and services to about 1,800 homeless men and women. We're giving away two tickets to the May 31st event to one lucky Grub Street reader. How do you enter?
Simply tell us, in ten words or less, what clever name you would give to a new wine. Make sure it's not something that's already out there like Bitch or Pinot Evil, and our editors will vote for their favorite one and pick a winner. Send your entries to us over email by next Friday at 5:00 P.M. and we'll announce the winner the following Monday. Check out our official contest rules here and good luck to all!
