The Counter continues its spread across the country, with a location planned to open in New York’s Times Square this fall and a recent “best burger” victory from S.F. Gate. Before the chain takes flight to the Big Apple though, Torrance will get its own location next Monday on Hawthorne Blvd., the tenth SoCal store for this Santa Monica-born chain. This new Counter will have patio space for 100 people outside and 70 on the inside, along with the same Southland industrial chic design, casual menu, and build-your-own-burger options found at sister stores. The Torrance location will open at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 28th.
