Puns and pho will continue their long relationship when West Hollywood finds UnPhogettable open to its streets. This Vietnamese eatery is currently under construction with signage at the former home of The Courtyard, a fairly pho-gettable tapas joint on Santa Monica Blvd. west of LaCienega. We spoke with a Mesa, Arizona chain of the same punny name that denies involvement with this L.A. location and, furthermore, takes issue with its registered title being filched. So we might soon have to pho-get the name for another clever play on the famous noodle soup, perhaps “pho-rced laughter?” Either way, expect UnPhogettable, or a similar restaurant with a different name, to open soon in WeHo.
