Foodies With Benefits

Who Will Be At East L.A. Meets Napa, Tomorrow at Union Station

East collides with North tomorrow night at Union Station during “East L.A. Meets Napa,” a three-hour tasting of locally esteemed Latin-American and eastern-located restaurants paired with 21 Napa wineries and over 1,000 hungry attendees. Among the feast will be heavy fan favorites like Rivera and Palate on the fine dining end, as well as local legends like Guelaguetza, Birrieria Chalio, El Tepeyac, Homegirl, Moles La Tia, Cook’s, Porto’s, Teresita’s and La Parilla, in addition to many others, like “Attila the Flan.” The included wineries seem to lean heavily on Spanish names as wekk, with Alex Sotelo, El Encanto, Gustavo Thrace, Mi Sueno, and Robledo among those mentioned. Tickets are still available online for tomorrow night’s event, with procceds going to AltaMed Health Services. A full list of participating restaurants and wineries is below.
