Singage for Naan Hut just popped up at a space on Santa Monica Blvd. and Colby Ave. If the words “naan” and “hut” have you instantly stoked for some Subcontinental flavor with the ease of a Sweets and Spices, you might be surprised to find out that Indian roti, poori, and paratha won’t be the specialty here. As befits the West L.A. location, this is Persian naan, with the promised inclusions of sangak, barbari, taftoon, and lavosh, possibly baked in a brick-oven if an illustrated depiction on the flyer tacked to their door is accurate. And when are they ever not?
