To celebrate its first anniversary, Pasadena’s Korean bistro, Cham, has expanded its wine and beer offerings and also added a tapas-style selection of Korean pub food. The new menu finds a creative twist on casual staples, with pan-fried rice cakes wrapped in bacon, crispy cheese kim chi pouches, haricot vert fries, calamari mini tacos, and ahi tuna drizzled with chimichuri, in addition to more traditional sides like pickled veggies and topokki. All dishes are five dollars or less. Korean beer and wine are available, but new additions include crafty Lost Abbey’s Devotion and Oskar Blues Mama’s Little Yella Pils.
