Of course it was going to come to this. The food truck trend just got sideswiped by the bacon trend that will not die. Meet Lardon, a new truck planned to roll out in L.A. this month, ensuring it’s “coming soon…for sizzle.” A Facebook page announces that the menu is almost finished, teasing that there will be “duck bacon” among the options. Their first event is scheduled for September 24th, while a Craigslist ad announces a probationary launch in mid-September. It’s only surprising that it’s taken this long, follow Lardon on Twitter to track the rest of its journey.
