Last night, the mozzarella paradise Obikà opened its fourteenth store, the first in L.A., at Century City's Westfield. Silvio Ursini's Rome-descended restaurant has a passion for cured Italian meats, cappucino, and pasta, along with an obsessive embrace of DOP buffalo milk mozzarella that gets imported three times a week from small, regional Italian artisan cheese-makers. Take a look at the cool, contemporary space and the mouthwatering exploration of cured meats and fresh cheese in our slide show look at Obikà and get ready, as another location is due for Beverly Center, according to its website.
Obikà, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd #206. Westfield Century City. 310-556-2452.
