Did you know L.A. has a restaurant just for rugrats where the star sightings happen to rival those at The Ivy? Giggles 'n Hugs, West L.A.'s eatery for children that has proved popular with the offspring of Damon Wayans, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, and Dustin Hoffman, among others, looks to be expanding to Westfield Century City. But this is no Bouchon Jr.
The food is mostly stuff you can whip up at home for a fraction of the price, items like chocolate chip pancakes, pizza, and "chicken little" nuggets, though there are paninis in place of PB&J; with the Wonderbread crusts cut off. Might be a better idea to get a sitter to take your progeny here while you try Obika (debuting this week) or forget about their existence entirely over margaritas at Pink Taco. Just hope that Kimora's kids are playing nice that day. The new restaurant is expected to open this fall, with more details online.
Giggles 'n Hugs, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. Century City.
