Hollywood, Dominick’s, and Little Dom’s Celebrate San Gennaro

Tonight marks the ninth year for L.A.’s own Feast of San Gennaro, which fortunately bears little resemblance to the event that strangles the remains of Downtown Manhattan’s Little Italy every year. The celebration, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla, is sponsored by Precious Cheese, and tonight’s Prima Notte will also find American-Italian festival faves like baked clams, calzone, gelato, and cannoli alongside Frankie’s on Melrose, Vito’s Pizza, and IL Cono Gelateria. Elsewhere, Dominick’s and Little Dom’s have added Italian street food to their menus, with options like a porchetta sandwich, arancini, zepploes, and gelato, running until September 26th in honor of the festival. Tickets for tonight’s Prima Notte event at The Feast of San Genarro will be sold on-site.
