To be on the knife’s edge of L.A. restaurant news, one suddenly has to stalk the Test Kitchen like most local food fanatics track Ludo’s every movement. Perpetually seasoned with heavy-duty chefs experimenting for their next projects, the restaurant just hosted Grace’s Neil Fraser with winemaker Joshua Klapper and is gearing up for Ricardo Zarate to showcase Anitcucho tonight and tomorrow during a live T.V. broadcast, then prepare an ancient Incan feast next week. It’s also just been announced that Red Medicine’s Jordan Kahn, who shared his inspirations with Grub Street this week, will serve a modern interpretation of “seven courses of beef,” a traditional Vietnamese banquet for special occasions. Kahn goes with on his nom nom-worthy ‘Nam from September 8th to 11th with reservations available only online, but walk-ins more than welcome.

Test Kitchen 9575 West Pico Blvd. Beverlywood.
