While we await the 2011 return of Sona and news about what’s coming to his property at Hollywood and Vine, David Myers is debuting his first international expansions, with two new restaurants in Tokyo’s legendary and upscale Mitsukoshi Ginza shopping center. David Myers Café is a 40-seat restaurant serving Cali cuisine, along with Comme Ca’s well-regarded burger. Attached is SOLA, a patisserie combining California and Japanese influences in sweet creations like green tea panna cotta, yuzu michi parfait, and Buddha fruit plum buckwheat crepes with vanilla soy milk.
