Looking to put a dent in our pizza deficit? Three-time World Pizza Champion winner Theo Kalogeracos, owner of Perth, Australia’s prized, if unfortunately named, Little Caesars, will cook a demo at Sur La Table at the Grove today from 12:30-1:30 P.M. Kalogeracos is hoping to become the George Foreman of pizza, pushing something called the “Pizza Perfector,” a new counter-top oven for personal pies, as well as a cookbook that probably details how to make his Jane’s Addiction, Strawberry Fields, and Mudhoney pizza. Here’s hoping he finds inspiration in Orange County for a Vandals-inspired “Pizza Tran.” If you’re still having trouble handling your pie, Kalogeracos will be back this Saturday at Surfas from 12:00-2:00 P.M.
