Zengo Goes Vegetarian and Gluten-Free

Zengo, Richard Sandoval’s Mexican-Asian mash-up in the mall, is introducing vegetarian and gluten-free menus, in addition to the new small plates it unleashed over lunch. The new offerings include versions of the restaurant’s Peking duck-daikon tacos and pork carnitas with rice noodles, all sans gluten, while the meat-free can embrace items like crispy tofu with Napa cabbage, lemon aioli, and sesame chili-sauce, as well as wakame-hijiki seaweed salad with cucumber, carrot, daikon, apple, and ginger dressing.
