Eater recently noted that risen-from-the-grave sports bar Dublin’s had shuttered on September 29th, roughly six weeks after opening with over 100 beers and former Provecho chef Raul Martinez. L.A. Downtown News reports that the health department closed the joint due to one of those typical twists in its bureaucratic bloomers. Basically, as we’ve seen before, the owners made a few “upgrades” in the kitchen without having the project permitted correctly or approved. Now the bar apparently has to submit applications for the renovations before reopening, spinning it into what could be a long drawn-out process, unless that new Restaurant and Hospitality Express leaps to their rescue. Meanwhile, the bar’s phone has been “changed, disconnected, or is no longer in service,” according to one silky-voiced robotic siren.
