Woodland Hill’s classic kabob-house, Green Cottage, which one Yelp user refers to as the “Ultimate depressing Persian restaurant” while another lambastes it for the “Wienerschnitzel interior,” is apparently attempting to rehab its musty image. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations which include a 194-square-foot extension, turning it’s a-frame building into a refreshed “family restaurant banquet hall.” Exterior renovations will attempt a less-homey, more modern, angular look, according to featured signage. Construction looks to be just getting underway, with a reopening still months away.
