A scattering of sausage-slingers have tried to recreate Wurstkuche’s success on the Westside, but spots like Spoc’s and Broadway Alehouse (nee Fifth Amendment) have yet to garner the same crush of bodies for their own kitchen’s output. Feast reports that Wurstkuche itself will take its own stab at a western location, with an ABC license currently pending for the home of Venice’s currently-open Air Conditioned supper club on Lincoln. It appears A/C transferred its license to the wiener wonders yesterday, so its operations could very well cease sometime in winter, a pretty appropriate time to get rid of air conditioning anyway.
