If Paying For Dinner Isn't Enough, You Can Now Cook It Yourself at RH at Andaz
Now that Hollywood pros are eschewing The Ivy to form "foodie" groups that eat raw beef and snort Sriracha (or whatever they do), taking clients out to a fancy dinner might not be enough anymore. That's where RH at Andaz chef Sebastien Archambault is stepping in. Today the French toque introduces "Be The Chef," where guests plunk down $110 a head to cook with the chef for three hours, then serve a family-style meal at the chef's table to friends, family, co-workers, partners, $12,000 escorts, or Tinseltown foodie clubs. If it sounds like too much work, the host also gets an RH chef's jacket, a boutique gift, and dinner with a glass of champagne. A minimum of seven guests is required, as is ditching work early to start slaving over a hot stove at 3:00 P.M. Reservations at 323-785-6090.
