Sweet E’s will open its first shop to the public this Wednesday morning, turning this online-order-only-bakery-turned-food truck into a real deal brick and mortar on Robertson. Sweet E’s was founded by Erica Tucker, who briefly glimpsed Food Network fame on Cupcake Wars. Her cupcakes, cake-pops, cookies, brownies, and whoopie pies will be the often miniaturized in-house specialties here, along with white fudge “peanut butter bliss” bars with marshmallows and Rice Krispies, and a line of vegan cupcakes. What? No mini-key lime and pumpkin pies? Tucker, you are so pre-winter 2010!
