Last time we checked in with La Seine owner Laurent Masliah, he told us he was "tired of being closed." Looks like his holiday wish came true: The new Beverly Hills restaurant will debut on Monday, just a few days behind schedule. Although a Japanese restaurant was the last tenant, there are still plenty of woodsy accents from when this was The Lodge Steakhouse, with some nice fireplace action for ambience. As previously mentioned, Café Was chef (and Top Chef D.C. contender) Alex Reznick will be at the stoves, creating dishes that are equal parts locavore, seasonal, French, Asian and kosher. So everyone's covered. The restaurant will serve only dinner for the first few weeks, with lunch to be added soon. Check out our slideshow for a preview.
