Foodievents

Where To Get All Your Shopping For Foodies Done in One Day

If you still need to do some holiday shopping for the foodies in your life, Downtown will turn into a massive bazaar this weekend with the union of Unique L.A., A Current Affair, and most apt for gnoshers, Artisanal L.A.’s pop-up, where over 35 food craftspeople will sell their wares, including one called “Orgasmo de la Boca” that almost makes us lose our lunch faster than yesterday’s serving of bukkake noodles. In any case, expect one-of-a-kind food products like artisan bacon, breads, brew, salt, sugar, sauces, and sodas, as well as independent makers of kitchen-wear and cooking supplies. And what food-event would be complete these days without food trucks? Fortunately, they’re keeping the wheels to a minimum, with just Lardon, Hungry Nomad, and The Lobsta Truck vying for your dollars. Oh, and Santa will be there on, heh heh, Santee Street, though we suspect it’s just one of his elves. See the full list of participants below and start making your plan of attack.

Artisanal L.A. $6 admission starts at 11:00 A.M. Saturday and Sunday at Cooper Design Space’s Santee Shop, 851 Santee St. Downtown.
