After a zillion eight years with the long-lived restaurant, chef Adam Horton is stepping down from his post at Saddle Peak Lodge on February 14th to work on developing Raphael’s, following six-weeks of downtime in Thailand. In his place will be Saddle Peak’s Chris Kufek, who rose to a cooking position after a start washing dishes at Santa Barbara’s Cafe Buenos Aires. Kufek came to to L.A. to work at Maggiano’s and also put in time at San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo Inn. [Calabasas Patch]
