Another reason to root for your L.A. Dodgers against the sucky, sucky Giants? Farmer John is pledging to donate 1,000 pounds of meat to the Union Rescue Mission for every home run Dodgers outfielder and Dining With ‘Dre blogger Andre Ethier this season. Last year, the woodsman racked up 23 homers, so let’s hope Ethier keeps his eye on the ball and his mind off of the the Mexican food in Phoenix. [Sun Herald]
