In what may be another strong endorsement for the kind of big, machine-made cubes of ice you find at Tar Pit, a man was stabbed in the head with an ice pick last night outside of Hollywood’s Joseph’s Cafe following a fight that began inside the restaurant then spilled out on to the street. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor injuries, while authorities responded massively with an investigation that stretched into the wee hours. While we’re happy no one was seriously hurt here, we have to wonder, when did bar brawlers go from box cutters to ice picks? Ouch! [Daily Breeze]
