Downtown: Villains Tavern is offering pints of Guinness and shots of Jameson this Thursday, with two bands, four dollar Newcastles and Heinekens, plus eight dollar punch. [Grub Street]
Hollywood: All nine locations of The Counter are offering green shakes for anyone who "likes" them on Facebook. For everyone else, it's three bucks per shake or glass of green beer. [Grub Street]
Kosher Corridor: Komodo Truck plans to open its brick-and-mortar restaurant sometime by March 23rd with a small, ever-changing menu of Asian and Californian fusion. [Squid Ink]

Marina del Rey: Stone's in the Marriott is changing course with a new bistro menu from chef Chad Roldan that includes John Dory with a popcorn crust. Sounds like one of the attempted eccentricities at Vu, which Stone's is close to physically. [Eater]
Santa Monica: This Sunday from 11:00 to 3:00 P.M., Hotel Shangri-LA is offering a post-Marathon, Greek-themed happy hour at the rooftop lounge called Suite 700. Cocktails start at seven dollars and bar eats include lamp chop lollipops and grilled eggplant rolls. [Grub Street]
Sherman Oaks: Leda's Bake Shop is becoming an organic bakery called Buttercelli Bakeshop on May 1st, which apparently "marks the dawn of a new era in Sherman Oaks." Must be some damn good muffins or something. [Feast]

Studio City: Both locations of Hugo's have introduced Create-a-Bowl, where you can customize your own creations that include toppings like turmeric basmati rice, lentils, and caramelized onions, zucchini corn & roasted red peppers, and fried plantains with Tika Masala sauce. [Hugo's]
West Hollywood: Following that weird shutter at the request of its landlord, Olio Pizzeria is back to serving its wood-fired pizza. [Eater]
