The Tripel Opens Tonight in Playa Del Rey; Lindy & Grundy Still Yet to Debut

Culver City: Remember Em’s Artist Cafe? It opened about two weeks back at 2926 S. La Cienega Blvd and serves game and exotic meats like venison and buffalo burgers, duck cognac bacon, and alligator quasadillas. [Feast]
Downtown: First & Hope debuts its new jazz brunch series this Saturday and Sunday, with a menu of breakfast and lunch dishes by chef Yuji Isawa and a wandering champagne cocktail cart that lets you mix and match various spices and tinctures. [Grub Street]
Hollywood: Cafe Entourage is rolling out a happy hour menu today, featuring plates priced at $12 and under, along with wine, beer, and cocktails priced from three to seven bucks. The happy hour runs weekdays from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. [Grub Street]

Playa Del Rey: Brooke Williamson and hubby Nick Roberts, of Hudson House and formerly of Amuse Cafe and Beechwood, open The Tripel tonight on far western Culver Blvd. Expect fourteen craft beers on tap, 50 in the bottle, and a market-sourced menu that includes a lamb burger, spaghetti bacalao, and a calamari po’boy.
