How do you create an even bigger demand amongst Angelenos for a Ludo pop-up? Planning it for just one ultra-exclusive night and putting the thing on T.V. would be an alluring start. This morning, The L.A. Times announces that Ludo Lefebvre and his wife Krissy will be shooting the final episode of their new Sundance Channel show, Ludo Bites America, tomorrow night at Redondo Beach's Casa Pulido, an old-school, family-style Mexican restaurant. Lefebvre, a South Bay resident himself, plans a night of French-Mex tapas that he says might include fried French tacos with brandade, smoky chipotle octopus, and a foie gras quesadilla. So how do you get a seat at tomorrow's dinner?
Reservations go live this afternoon at 5:00 P.M. at 310-540-8028. Only the fates know how smoothly that stampede will really work, so good luck to one and all! And if you don't get a seat for tomorrow's dinner, not to worry, as LudoBites is reportedly still setting up shop in L.A. this summer, while Ludo's show, full of plenty of crazy creations you'll probably never get to try, debuts on July 19th.
