This week, Jenna Fischer dined at Red O and Ryan Reynolds supped with a friend at Fig & Olive. But the biggest star in celebrity dining this week was not an actual actor or pop-sensation, but simply the site of a restaurant itself. Yep, it turns out it was much more than cigars and brat being smoked over at Schatzi.
The media spread a story this week that Arnold used office space within a Main Street Santa Monica complex (where he once owned the aforementioned Austrian restaurant) for his extracurricular baby-making. The press descended on 3110 Main Street (where Antonio Mure recently opened 31Ten) and after cornering the governor for an instant, found him absent in the ensuing days.
But it doesn't mean the actor was in hiding. Arnold got support from Sly Stallone and Chuck Zito at an unnamed Beverly Hills restaurant this week, while Maria Shriver was spotted eating in Brentwood with the kids. The former couple may never go dining together again, but at least they didn't brawl while hanging out at the same church. Take a look at where else celebrities have been dining in L.A. below.
Fig & Olive: Ryan Reynolds had a three-hour dinner last Friday with an older gentleman. Rosemary lamb Chops and chicken hit the table, and Reynolds drove off on his motorcycle. [Grub Street]
Fig & Olive: Tori Spelling took her kids out to eat on her 38th (yeah right) birthday. [Grub Street]
Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop: Ludacris was back on Tuesday...for the first time! He got the whole wheat barbecue chicken pizza and a salad. Sounds like the blueberry yum yum might have been an amuse bouche! [Grub Street]
M Cafe: Jake Gyllenhaal snapped, crackled, and popped yesterday afternoon over the restaurant's Rice Krispie treats. [Grub Street]
