Pho Citi, the 24/7 Vietnamese noodle franchise with locations scattered across Los Angeles, is set to open in a new store in Downtown in the next two weeks. This branch will sell its usual menu of 60-plus dishes, and will also contain its own bakery space. Pho Citi has won a few accolades locally, though you’ll rarely find a strong endorsement from anyone who knows and loves Vietnamese food, especially as regards the pho itself. While it may not threaten the popularity of Starry Kitchen or the banh mi at Mendocino Farms, an all-night noodle spot conveniently set-up in Downtown is sure to be a lure for at least a few starving night owls.
