Dual Restaurants, Not Dueling Restaurants, Come to Life in Palms

Remember Bubba Diego’s and Crossroads BBQ, that two-in-one teaming of restaurants on Sepulveda that we’ve been tracking? This two-headed monster’s press people send us official word that the restaurant is now softly serving and to expect a grand opening on June 9th at 4:00 P.M.

The project, which comes from Dinah’s heir Mario Ernst, offers barbecue on one side (Kansas-style beef ribs, slow smoked brisket, truffle chips, and even halibut ribs and Dinah’s chicken!) and Mexican Cantina eats on the other. Like many great relationships, the two sides are brought together by booze, going strong on microbrews, classic cocktails, ryes, whiskey, and bourbon (we presume and hope tequila will come into the mix, too) and also allows for diners to eat either cuisine in either restaurant. A full menu for Crossroads is up on the restaurants’ website (also apparently shared) while Bubba Diego’s appears to be working on its own sense of time.
