Next Wednesday, The Yard is expecting a rare visitor from Wisconsin. For the gastro-pub’s monthly Beer Freek event, New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red, a cherry-brewed beer that uses a pound of fruit per bottle and is seldom seen outside of its home state, will be served. Joining the rarity will be an imperial lager from The Bruery, an imperial Maharaja IPA from Avery, and North Coast’s La Merle Farmhouse Ale. The New Glarus will be bottled, with the rest in drafts, and all available in a flight.
